OCR Software for International Permits

Developed OCR software from scratch using OpenCV in Python to extract data from international permits PDFs. Implemented custom preprocessing pipelines to handle variations in text font, size, and orientation. Demonstrated improvement in OCR accuracy for 10k+ permits, resulting in time and cost savings.

File Compression Software

Optimized disk space by creating file compression software in Python, saving 40% disk space.
